2.3 Apply A

The Marian Apparition in Paris.  Catherine Laboure was 24 when Mary first contacted her.  Mary warned her of the oncoming troubles. A week later those troubles came true, that being the revolution starting in Paris just a week later.  Later that year, Mary appeared before Catherine again and asked her to place a medal where they worshipped her.  Mary told Catherine it would be a source of great graces and should be worn around the neck.

2.3 Understand A

Miracles have occured very rarely througout history. So rarely that only ten were found to be true. For a miracle to be true, it has to go through a process through the church. The process of making sure the miracle is true is very thorough. It goes through many different stages, some stages include medical doctors and theologians, but the very last person it goes through is the Pope himself.  He determines whether the miracle is true or not, he has the final say. Throughout the ten confirmed miracles, the church has found that there are three types of miracles.  They are Marian apparitions, Eucharistic Miracles, and Miracles of Healing.

2.2 analyze 1

In 1894 the french president, Sadi Carnot, was assassinated with a knife. The surgeons thought that the presidents veins were too large to successfully put back together. That is when Carrel set out to find and develop new techniques for surgeons to suture blood vessels. He then created a technique called triangulation.  This technique is like sewing. They used it to sew back blood vessels which they never thought would be able to happen, and we still use that technique today.  This relates to miracles because when Carrel or anyone invents something that can change how we see the world, it defies all the laws about that field or area that we had previously thought.

Motives of credibility are examples and/or proofs that help you come to a conclusion. Motives of credibility relate to the story of the boy who cried wolf because when the boy calls wolf each time, everyone believes him but there is never a wolf.  So by the third time, people believed there was no wolf when there was.  And the people had no reason to believe him because he lied before and there was also no proof or motives of credibility.  There wasn't a single sign that said there is a wolf attacking the boy

2.2 Understand 2

What Can We Learn About God From Analyzing Creation?

From analyzing the creations of God such as nature, we can see many traits of God.  We can see that God was intellegent.  He was beautiful.  And God was perfect.  God created all these wonderful objects for us to enjoy and for us to see the world and how exotic He made each and every place.

Is Faith The Only Way To Believe God Exists?

My group and I discussed the topic and we came to a conclusion that faith is needed to believe in God.  It is not that it is the only way but you must have faith to believe in God.  Whether you believe in God through Reason or Divine Revelation, Faith must be there for you to truly believe in Him.  God is an all powerful being that millions around the world believe in.  And every single one of them has faith.
